The Tropic of Capricorn Spire Visitor Information Centre is located at the Tropic of Capricorn Spire on Gladstone Road, at the southern entrance to Rockhampton.
This visitor information centre offers a one stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures, and itineraries. Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable volunteers, The Spire Visitor Information Centre can provide advice on the things to see and do and where to eat in the Rockhampton Region and surrounds.
Archer Park Rail Museum
Commemorating the Rockhampton region’s rich railway history, the Archer Park Rail Museum offers a glimpse into the past.

Capricorn Caves
Great for both adults and kids, the Capricorn Caves are one of the most popular natural attractions in the Central Queensland region.
Located just north of Rocky, these spectacular caves feature stalactites, flowstones, cavernous chambers and a whole host of cave-dwelling wildlife, including bats.
There are a number of tours to choose from, ranging from easy, wheelchair-accessible caves to the “Wild Caving” option, which features tight tunnels and creepy dead ends.
Koorana Crocodile Farm
Koorana Crocodile Farm is a commercial farm and restaurant specialising in all things crocodile-related, from croc steaks to leather accessories.
Established in 1981, Koorana was the first commercial crocodile farm in Queensland. Starting as a live capture service for Queensland, Koorana’s founders used their skills to safely detain problem crocs, which they would later use as breeding stock.
Today, Koorana boasts over 3,000 crocodiles, as well as a hatchery and small number of trained crocs.
